Produced at HERDADE DO ESPORÃO, Vinha Da Defesa red is an elegant, well structured wine, combining the spicy, dark berry fruits and firm tannins of Aragonês, with the fragrant, raspberry and soft fleshy fruit flavours of Castelão. Bright with a full red color. Clean spicy dark fruit aroma with some oak complexity. Combines the fragant raspberry soft fruit flavours of Periquita with the dark berry fruits and firm tannins of Aragonês. Delicious just itself but great with red meat and cheeses.
